2011The City & Guilds qualification makes way for the new Prince's Trust QCF qualification

2010Lacey Holdsworth, Team 2 Hinckley, wins the VCS Best Volunteer Award 2010Team 73 Leicester runner’s up in Most Innovative Youth Led Project

2009Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service deliver the TEAM programme to the 1500th young person in Leicestershire and Rutland.Hinckley reaches its 50th Team member to attend the programme (in Hinckley) in December 2009Amy Smith, Team 67 Leicester, wins the Prince’s Trust regional Young Achiever of the Year
 
2008H.R.H. the Prince of Wales visits members of Team 65 Leicester and Team 17 Loughborough during an event at Leicester City Football Club.Coalville reaches its 100th Team member to attend the programme (in Coalville) in August 2008.We celebrated the delivery of our 100th Team programme in Leicestershire on 29th September 2008 with the delivery of Team 10 Coalville.

2007Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service and the Prince's Trust celebrate ten years of partnership.
 
2006Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service deliver the TEAM programme to the 1000th young person in Leicestershire and Rutland.Qualification changes from City & Guilds 'Profile of Achievement' to City & Guilds 'Personal, Teamwork and Community Skills' (3891).
 
2005The FA Premier League, Football Foundation and the Professional Footballers' Association re-confirm their commitment to the Prince's Trust by extending the partnership until 2008. To date almost 10,000 young people have benefited from the football initiative.
 
2003The Prince’s Trust ‘Volunteers’ programme changes its name to the ‘Team’ programme.
 
2001The total number of young people who've been helped in some way by the Trust reaches 400,000 people. The total receiving sustained help per year reaches 25,000.
 
2000Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service receive a visit from HRH the Prince of Wales to Team 15 Leicester’s final presentation.
 LFRS win the National ‘Franchise Excellence Award’.
 
1997The Prince's Trust pilots a Team project supported by the FA Premier League, Football Foundation and Professional Footballers' Association which would later be rolled out to include more than 60 clubs from across the four professional leagues.
 Leicestershire Fire and Rescue Service commit to becoming a Delivery Partner for the Prince’s Trust to begin delivering the ‘Volunteers’ programme with dedicated Fire Service Team Leaders.
 
1990Launch of The Prince's Trust ‘Volunteers’ programme, superseding the community venture, a 12 week personal development programme for 16-25 year olds, both unemployed and employed. By 1995, 10,000 young people have completed the programme. By 2000 the figure is 50,000.
 
1985The Prince of Wales Community Venture is launched - an intensive 42-week programme, containing a mix of challenge, outdoors activity teamwork, and community care. This later developed into the ‘Volunteers’ programme.
