Sarah Forsyth, High Sheriff of Rutland 2010-11 to Juliet Briggs regarding T86 presentation:
5.8.11: Thank you so much for inviting me to the Team presentation yesterday. It was, I think, the best attended presentation I have been too which I hope is recognition of all the hard work you and the team put in to helping young people. Congratulations to you all.
Tracy, mother of Team member to Mat Jesson re T85 presentation/son:
3.6.11: I would just like to say again thank you for everything you have done for Blake, we all enjoyed the presentation and yes there were a few tears. Team 85 looked like they had all got on and made friends, I really hope they all stay in touch and maybe a reunion in the future. Myself and family wish them all the luck and success in the world. Once again thank you.
Peter Osborne, Chairman of the County Council 2010-11 to Juliet Briggs regarding T8 Hinckley presentation:
15.4.11: Thank you for inviting Catherine and I yet again to the Achievement Awards yesterday at the Hinckley Council Chamber.
It is always a pleasure to meet the team and to hear of their successes. The students who had taken part seemed to be a group and perhaps some life long friendships will have started. As you said it is the last time Catherine and I are invited as Chairman and I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for all your leadership in looking after all the young people who have gone through your hands and hopefully turned their lives around.
Please thank the other members of the team, office staff and the leaders for their success in the community.
Nev Turner, New Parks Club for Young People to Juliet Briggs re T84 presentation/community project:
7.4.11: The management, members and supporters of the club wish to convey our very big appreciation to Team Leader Team 84 for their challenge of achievement at the club.
I personally felt very honoured to have met all concerned with Team 84, something I will not forget, thanks a lot Team.
I was shown a lot of respect by all concerned, which I appreciated a lot.
I do hope they go on in life to achieve their goals.
Please convey my heartiest and sincere thanks to all.
Best wishes for future challenges.
Sarah Forsyth, High Sheriff of Rutland 2010-11 to Mat Jesson regarding T83:
20.2.11: I have been trying to find the time to write a proper letter of thanks for making me feel so welcome when I followed the team through their 12 week course. I realise a proper letter is never going to happen so have resorted to email again. Thank you so much, I really enjoyed meeting the team and was amazed how well they all turned out.
I imagine you put a lot of effort into selecting the right group because you had all sorts of abilities and ages and it was fascinating to see how they all helped each other. Having been in at the beginning I could see what a benefit the course is and what a fantastic help it is to them all. I wish you well with all your future courses and if I can ever be of any assistance please call on me.
Donna, Aunt of Team member to Mat Jesson re T83 presentation/son:
13.2.11: Just like to say a big thank you for all your help and encouragement to Shane. I’m Donna, his auntie, and I am fully aware of Shane’s capabilities, and it’s wonderful to see he’s finally showed everyone else what actually makes him tick.
I came to the Team 83 presentation last Wednesday and was very impressed by the change you had made to their lives, and I only hope that they take it on board and carry it through with them for their future.
Many thanks again, Shane has thoroughly enjoyed his 12 weeks with you and the team and is, like most of them, genuinely sad it has come to an end.
